FAQ | Village Inn Rentals

How do I book a Condo?
Book directly on this website by using the "check availability box" to the left. You will be required to pay $100 to hold the room. Your request will show as "PENDING" review by one of our office staff and will show as "ACCEPTED" within 48 hours.

What are the benefits of booking a Condo?
Location, Location, Location! Home base at the summit of White Pass. Helpful staff and a warm welcome from local experts. Did we mention our winter hot pool?

What do I do when I need to cancel?
Please email [email protected] if you must cancel. There is a 24 hour grace period from the time the reservation is made, but after that, all deposits and final payments are non-refundable. Payment of a non-refundable $100 deposit is required at the time you reserve your White Pass Village Inn condo unit. Payment of the full remaining balance is required 30 days in advance of your arrival date and will automatically be processed on the payment card on file. There are no cancellation refunds made for any reason, including personal schedule conflicts, sickness and injury, adverse weather and travel concerns, closure of ski area services or poor snow conditions. If for any reason we cannot honor your reservation due to local, state or federal jurisdictional mandates, we will accommodate a refund of your reservation. The Village Inn recommends you safeguard your purchase with travel insurance such as Generali or another agency.

Can I check in early or check out late?
Because we do our best to offer consistent service to all our guests, we do not offer extended hours for purchase at this time.

How far are the Ski Lifts?
The White Pass ski area is just across the Hwy from the Village Inn. We are not directly affiliated with the ski resort. Guests walk out of their condo and around to the front, cross the road and are at the slopes ready for a day of skiing. Not quite ski-in-ski-out, but pretty close to it!

How far is the Nordic Center?
The White Pass Nordic Center is what you see when you drive to the main parking lot just before turning into the Village Inn. You can see the Nordic groomer tracks from many units, as they are adjacent to our parking lot.

Do you have any specials on lift tickets?
Please check our Specials page for any current offers. Advance lift ticket purchases are now required at White Pass Ski Area.

Do any of the units have hot tubs?
Our main feature is our outdoor heated pool, located behind the office between us and the ski slope. None of the individual units have their own hot tub, so come to our winter "hot pool" or summer "cool pool" and bring your plastic cups! No smoking in the pool area, thank you.

Can I bring my pet with me?
NO. Rental guests are not allowed to bring pets onto the Village Inn premises.

What is the WIFI Password?
There is no WIFI on site because bandwidth is extremely limited at our remote location.
T-Mobile, AT&T, US Cellular and Verizon data plans work to varying degrees depending on weather conditions and number of users on any given day.

I'm a PCT Hiker, what happens if I don't arrive as scheduled?
Please call or email in advance of a late arrival to pre-arrange entry to your unit.  If you'd rather not reserve in advance, walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability,

Is there a store or restaurant nearby?
Most guests bring food to cook, and ground coffee/other beverages. The Village Inn provides well stocked kitchenettes with pots/pans, silverware, dishes, the appliances, coffee filters, sponge and soaps.

If you are not interested in bringing your own meals and don't mind a short and scenic drive, Packwood has the closest grocery store and restaurant options year-round.  The Kracker Barrel (509.672.3105) is right next door and is a good source for last minute needs as well as canned, dried, deli and freezer case items. When the ski slopes are open there are many food options at the Day Lodge, High Camp Lodge, and Nordic Yurt.  Old #3 Pizza, located along-side Hwy 12 at the base of the ski area, is another great option!

Is there anything else you suggest that I bring?
A Bathrobe and "grippy, easy on/off shoes" to get to and from the pool! Shampoo, Conditioner and these items.

Will a crib/mattress/cot fit at the foot of the bed?
No. Our floor plans are already maximized for occupancy and we ask that you respect our policy. An exception would a small portable crib for an infant if you don’t plan to pull out a sofa sleeper.

Are any of the units for sale?
Occasionally units come up for sale. Because our staff are not real estate agents, we cannot be of much help in this area.
