When you plan a trip to the summit of White Pass, Washington, you’re close to access points for many of the Pacific Northwest’s favorite activities. The Village Inn is conveniently located on the official Washington State Evacuation Route (Highway 12); so, the only time you can’t reach us is during a major catastrophe or extreme weather event. Throughout the year, day trips abound, ranging from relaxing to adrenaline filled. Enjoy hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, kayaking, rafting, and fishing, or take scenic drives along US Highway 12 to Mount Rainier National Park. Closest Mt. Rainier National Park Entrance to White Pass Village Inn: Ohanapecosh. Other areas of Mt. Rainier to consider exploring: Chinook Pass and Paradise.
Pacific Crest Trail
The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) spans 2,650 miles (4,265 kilometers) from Mexico to Canada, winding through California, Oregon, and Washington. When staying at White Pass Village Inn, you’re only a short distance from where the PCT crosses the highway, mile 2294.9, just half a mile east of the lodge.
We’re conveniently located less than 60 minutes from Yakima, and for quick re-supplies, you’ll find the Kracker Barrel Store right next door. They even accept USPS mailed packages for hikers. You can reach them at (509) 672-3105 with any questions.
We usually have plenty of rooms available, and our online booking system lets you reserve at your convenience.
If you plan to arrive late, simply book your room online and give us a call between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. We’ll happily arrange the best setup for your arrival.

| Just across the street are the ski lifts! You can see them from your window. You`ll find terrain that suits all levels so everyone in the family will feel comfortable on the slopes. Great White, the main surface lift, takes you up to the top of Pigtail peak with stunning views of Mt. Rainier on a clear day. Visit the day lodge for dining, rental and ticket services. | |

White Pass Nordic Center
| Visit the Nordic Center for X-Country ski, snowshoe, and fat tire bike rentals, as well as maps and trail information, located just north of The Village Inn`s parking area. The second Nordic Yurt provides light fare and beverages during the ski season as well. |
